A note

I'm a software architect based in Colombo. I build systems for a living — microservices, migration paths, the kind of work that's invisible when done well.

This isn't that site. That's seevali.dev.

This is the place where I put things that don't have a category. Photos I took because the light was right. Opinions about rice and traffic and the weird satisfaction of solving a problem nobody asked you to solve.

I grew up in Maharagama, moved to Colombo for work, and never quite got around to leaving. Most mornings I walk to work even though the bus is faster. I notice things — the way light falls through a kitchen window, the particular rhythm of a Colombo intersection at 5 PM, the satisfaction of a well-named variable.

I take photos on my phone because the best camera is the one you have. I write when something won't leave my head until I put it somewhere.

Updated slowly. On purpose.
